If we are determined for the nature friendly products manufactured and designed for the least damage of the environment, it will have the direct impact for the sustainability of the earth. The present day manufacturing processes are leaving the irreparable damages for the planet and so it is our bonding duty to be to minimize the damage for all future process. It is definite, a single person can not do a significant change, but what we are looking here is the society as a whole. If the society as a whole insists that we need environment friendly manufacturing process the result would be phenomenal.
We are leading a fast life and so we need things which are faster in nature to cope with the fast life. It is an irony of the fate that we just ignore the side effects. For example of the detergents, if it is a nature product it gives a feeling that the cleaning effect is slow due to the absence of chemical ingredients. It may be true, but the fact that we have to take into consideration is that these environmental products are harmless do not cause breathing difficulties or skin irritations. So those who are using them can use them without affecting their health. In third world countries where there is a lack of proper ventilation in most of the homes, these environmental products are a blessing. In addition to this as most of the environmental products are non toxic in nature, they are safe among the children.
There is a limitation too. All environmental products are not non toxic. This is an exception as is normal for the nature. So we have to be thoroughly understood every aspect of the case individually. Thankfully such instances are very few in existence.
When we consider for environmental products in our homes we have to consider for environmental stationeries like paper, pencil, pens etc. The world has not yet catches up with the stationeries which are bio degradable but there are some web sites which supply those items, you can order them through on line. As more people are getting involved or getting serious for environmental friendly products the shelf space of the retail stores also proportionally will be increased. If we are serious for the sustainability of the earth, the nature friendly products have to be our beginning. There has to be a style of living with minimum requirement of energy and minimum waste generation. If we take the basic question ‘environment protection’ why not ask a question to ourselves “why not from me”. This will certainly provoke any one for immediate reaction.
